I'm just responding to comments made by SCSU fans that I disagreed with.
I apologize if my Line of the Night comment sent you over the edge.

I didn't post from Thurs-Sun as I was at the pond hockey tourney in northern WI, so the damage to my rep must have been done earlier in the week.

I wasn't mad about it at all. That is why I used the after code the red. Motzko was out coached big time. I called this before the game and half the people on here say I know nothing about hockey. Not only do teams time and time again man handle this team, motzko didn't even give his team a chance to win by calling time out and pulling his goalie.

I keep reading that Hakstol sent Lammy after Marvin. Very offensive suggestion. I see "Get over it" is a one-way street - doesn't apply to SCSU fans.

These same posters say Marvin's hit on Genoway last year was completely out of character. If you watched him over the years, you'd know that hit wasn't the real Marvin. So if Marvin wouldn't do such a thing on his own right, can I suggest that Motzko sent him after Genoway?

I'll bet that's not allowed either, eh?

I personally don't care. UND had the option to choose class over revenge and they chose to prove that they were even more classless than Marvin. Congratulations.

No, they didn't. They just beat you. Pretty badly I might add. My take: They shoulda decapitated Windows & Doors. But, they just decided to kick the snot out of you instead. Take the loss and move on.

Stuff like this only confirms all the stuff said about UND (and apparently a lone UMD fan) fans not being able to let go. We won a game, you guys won a game, Marvin proved he isn't a wuss, let it go for now and focus on more important things, like next weekend's series. Beating a dead horse isn't going to land you guys home ice.

This is the most ridiculous post ever. They base the scholar-athlete thing on your GPA at your said university. When you go to an elementary school for college, your GPA is going to be pretty high.

yeah because a team can admit a coach told him to do it. Do you realize what would happen if Hakstol said he order a code red. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Like it or not it is part of the game. What I don't like is gutless wonders slashing people in the back, spearing or head hunting to try and hurt someone. The NHL doesn't have many problems because fighting takes tht stuff away. If someone does it they are going to get their ***** kicked and that is the way it should be.

You do realize this would apply to your Dive Squad as well? If fighting was allowed in college hockey maybe your team wouldn't try to dive so **** much and Sioux players wouldn't have done most of the penalties they were taking. I mean seriously, if I were a Sioux player I'd be getting sick of the **** diving as well.

Anyways didn't get to watch the first game, but the second game was enjoyable of course. See you folks the next time the two teams meet up. This "rivalry" actually might start heating up and actually be a rivalry!

I think both UND and SCSU players have forgotten more hockey than you or anyone else on this bleeding vagina thread will ever know, so why not leave it to the players and league to decide what is classless/cheap/diving/goon. Marvin hits Genoway, UND fans say Marvin is a goon SCSU fans say "huh?, totally out of character ugh he's a deacon at the church!", Zajac lays a two hander on Roe(who cross checked macwilliam from behind twice) and SCSU "burn him, burn him at the stake! Oh spawn of satan! Sanctify his mind and soul Aaron!" UND says "Greg Roegainus". Both sides can keep crying into their keyboards or get over it but neither will win because both are guilty. It was a great series and exciting to the last minute, thank you SCSU and UND for a great weekend of hockey.

On the other hand when you 2 hand slash someone that is completely intentional and a complete classes act. I wish we didnt need hepp or marvin for next week so they could have thrown down at the end of the game.

I actually agree, everyone has agreed that it was a dirty hit. But seriously, I really don't understand how fans can say "it was with intent." I mean, really? By looking at a video you can deduce that Marvin is saying to himself "I'm gonna maliciously hurt this guy."??

I do wish the refs would have let Marvin and Lamoureux fight. Cause as it stands I think this crap will continue on the next time these two teams play.

It wasn't to long ago though, that the Robbie Bina hit happened. So Sioux fans will be far more touchy about it.

He jumped in the air - his skates left the ice. Apparently he wasn't quite tall enough to plant his CFB where he wanted it.

I'm not letting it go, and Husky fans maintain Marvin's just a good boy who does bad things. Stalemate is fine with me.
