Kevin Allenspach and Mick Hatten are apparently switching jobs at the Times. KA takes over at the Citizen Times desk, Hatten picks up the Husky Hockey beat.

KA's Facebook page confirms it.

I'll miss his coverage, hopefully Hatten picks up where Kevin left off.

Re: SCSU Huskies 2010 Off-Season Thread

KA's strong coverage will be hard to match. However, the next Times writer assigned to cover the Husckeys should have a fun season to report upon.

What's the "cares" talk about regarding certain teams? Do I nurture a particular team? If someone were to have commented at the time regarding a news report about a lawnmower tossing incident, does that mean that person "cared" about the Sioux (or whatever they plan to name themselves)?

And on the subject of vague comments and confusing thoughts, why would you name the main character of a Hollywood motion picture, 'CHARLIE ST. CLOUD'? What's up with that?

Re: SCSU Huskies 2010 Off-Season Thread

Mick is a great guy. I enjoyed working with him and he was a lot easier to work with on Citizen Times than it was with the KA Sports section. I respect what Kevin did with the coverage for Husky Hockey, but I do have some personal angst against him when I worked at the Times. Good Luck, Mick. He better have good coverage because I won't be up there as much this upcoming season. Stupid work. :(

Re: SCSU Huskies 2010 Off-Season Thread

A little late i know but wrestling would not be first cut. the team is ranked in the top ten in the nation and only going up (D2 i know). and the program itself is considerably cheaper to run than some programs.

what will go first ??? idk

Re: SCSU Huskies 2010 Off-Season Thread
