This is kinda like the Bjugstad/Zengrele convo from the WCHA thread. Both Jensen and Schmidt are good players and both will be relied on heavily if their respective teams are to be successful this year. I will wait to see how it plays out before I predict who should be ranked ahead of who in a PRE-SEASON top defensemen list.:p

Exactly! B-Jugs > Zengerle, Jensen > Schmidt. Whew... that was easy.

WCHA coaches put the Huskies in 4th, almost even with Denver. A math major could deduce the minimum number of 3rd place votes they received, but it's got to be more than one.

EDIT: Ok, I did a little bit of math and figured they could get ZERO 3rd place votes, but only if they got a 2nd place vote. Barring that, they got at least two 3rd place votes. Motzko did not vote for SCSU at all.

Does anybody know if St. Cloud will do a jersey auction this year and if so, which game? I thought I heard a rumor it might be for the Gopher series.

It dawns on me this is the offseason thread. Did we REALLY not start a 2012-2013 season thread?
