anybody have the lineups for scsu i couldnt find it online with the new guy at the paper...and whats going on with mosey....

The new guy at the paper is no KA. I just turned on the webcast, but I did not catch the forwards. Here's the D Corps, apologies:

Also, Lyons just mentioned that Mosey is NOT playing.

Game just started. Mosey is not playing today. All Lyons said was all people other than Christian not palying was a coaches decision. He said he expects a lot of changes in the line up tomorrow night. Whatever that means.

Man, it was tough to think about hockey with how nice it was outside at gametime, but I managed with some headphones, a lawn chair, and a couple beers. It's always nice to start with a win, lets keep piling them up!!

Anyone have any news on the game/lineup? This is the best team SCSU has had in awhile and they get no news coverage?

Simple. SCSU fans feel their team will finish above all three of UW, DU and UMN. I don't agree. If you're right I buy you a drink of your choice at the F<strike>5</strike>6, if any of these three finish ahead of SCSU in the final conf standings, you buy me a drink of my choice at the F6. If by some chance I miss the F6 (work travel, kid's event, etc.) I have to find a proxy who will buy you the drink (I know several people who are going), ditto if you miss the F6.

I'll take that wager on two conditions:

1) As a rule, I never bet against the field, and while three teams isn't "the field," its still an unfair advantage, 'cause all that has to happen is one of those three have a hot year. So one of those three has to BEAT SCSU, not just tie. If SCSU ties or beats all of them, I win.
2) No proxy drinks... if one of us misses the F5 then we'll make it up another time.

Mosey will play tonight. Boys looked OK, a little sloppy. RIT was very competitive. The one goal they scored was during a scrum in front of the net. UNO looked way good, and possibly Clarkson is way bad. 8-0, UNO takes 60 shots on goal. UNO looked almost like a North Dakota team.

Funny. The original claim was that SCSU would finish ahead of all 3 of those teams (Minnesota, Wisconsin, DU). Goldy said let's bet on it.
Seems pretty straight forward to me...

wow what a pathetic attempt of effort by the huskies today. I guess they forgot they didn't get a W for walking into the rink.

Anybody actually at the game today? It sounded like Clarkson worked like crazy all game over the radio, but I'd like some SCSU perspective on the whole situation.

worked like crazy with the addition of defenseman playing lazy, trying to pick off passes, and leaving/forgetting/not caring about opposing players behind them. Our defense hung out goalies out to dry in the beginning of last season, and this season seems to be starting the same.

Edit: for the record I was listening to the game on the radio

We suck butt. One of the worst games I've seen as a fan. Effort wasn't there. Nobody showed much skill or interest. All the other teams put up good efforts. It looks like if the other team plays hard, we will lose. Embarassing and pathetic. I guess Clarkson wasn't a totally bad team. We made them look like world beaters. Hardly any D. The offense didn't even generate any scoring opportunities in the third period. Motzko show may be interesting on Monday. The boys must have thought that they just needed to show up and win. Poopy.

Hopefully Motzko will be skating them hard this week!! He needs to let them know if you don't work hard, you don't play. He said on last weeks show there is a lot of competition with 8 freshman. Funny if the players thought that you would think we would see more effort out of them.......

We haven't seen the so called "A" line up in the three so far this season. Next weekend are huge games against Miami in terms of pairwise. He better play the "A" team both nights.
