It's really unfortunate that a kid like Bryce is treated like this well everyone is so happy a kid like David finally returns. From the limited knowledge we have of what goes on in that locker room we know that Bryce is leaving to improve his skill in hopes of helping the team in the fall and David can't sing his ABC's long enough to pass a class yet we want David on the team instead of Bryce because he might have more offensive gifts. (I say might because Bryce hasn't really gotten a chance.)

Your best players play, Bryce was not one of those players for the first half of the season. Last I checked your grades don't earn you goals on the ice, who cares about how smart Eddy is. Bryce didn't play because he wasn't as good as the people ahead of him on the roster. Why are you going after Eddy anyway, he had nothing to do with Bryce not playing. Eddy was suspended the entire time Bryce was on the team. Also, if you are going to rip on Eddy for not being able to say his ABC's you should learn how to write a sentence correctly. Maybe you should take a page from Bryce's note book and go back to English class.

Top goalies don't give up shots from the blueline followed by a limp wristed backhand from the wall.
Dunn for all practical purposes is done.

Never thought I'd be so happy to be in 8th place.

Series with BADgers in late February at NHC is shaping up to be huge for shot at home-ice in first round.

I am sure it is more difficult for parents of D1 players to except their kid isn't as good as they thought they were since their kids were stars the whole time growing up. Hell I have run into parents at low levels of hockey with my kids who think their kids are a lot better than the are and they are not even teenagers yet.

As much as I rib on guys like Johnson, Barta and Christian I would have given my left nut to be as good as they are....Hell it would have been cool even being a Hardy and never getting to play. A parent can never win by reading message boards full rubes and especially never win by posting on them. They should just leave the knee jerk reactions and monday morning QBing to us rubes and not read these boards so their feelings and ego's don't get hurt.........

It is important to note that it is very rare at this level of sports to have a player who finally figures out he could use some fine tuning before taking his game to the next level. In the case of Johnson I commend him for taking a step back from Division 1 to go to Omaha and get better as a player. Hopefully next season when he comes back he will be better in every facet of his game. Touche Mr. Johnson, Touche

On a different note, although the sweep this weekend, after looking at the game footage from both nights it is so apparent that Mike Lee is not on top of his game. If I could express one thing to the rubes here it is that Mike Lee is out of position ALOT. Some saves that Don Lyons as well as Charter explain are great saves are often Michigan Tech players missing the net. This will not happen against top tier teams in the WCHA and he needs to continue to get better or we may be back at square one.

If Dunn was going to play, he would have yesterday.
This team is on Lee's shoulders and there is nothing to be gained by playing Dunn anymore.
It is interesting that positioning seems to be his problem considering coming out of Juniors and heading into the draft he was talked about as almost never being out of position.

With all the commotion with the first half mantra of "What's wrong with the Huskies?" to the Florida incident when Mosey and Hepp are dumped from the team, we are still ****ing and moaning about a goalie that stopped 51 of 52 shots on the weekend??

Huskies have won 4 straight and have climbed to 8th instead of 11th.

Oh. And the shots where Lee was incredibly out of position, how many went in? Maybe the angles he is playing aren't quite as bad as they looked.

It has nothing to do with how many went in, all I am saying is that against a better team they WILL go in. I am not complaining at all, a sweep is a sweep, I am just saying that after looking at the net cams it is clear that he gets hung out to dry more than you think, and against a team the likes of ND or N Omaha they will bury those shots more often than Michigan Tech

It doesn't matter what anyone says, we SHOULD beat Michigan tech, there shouldn't be a doubt at all. I am happy they won, hopefully it will turn their season around. It is clear that maybe we have the cliched phrase of "Addition from Subtraction"
