I've never been able to figure out how they get away with so much blatant hypocrisy. It doesn't make any sense. Anyone with a functioning brain cell knows that's exactly what they're doing.

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, of Wisconsin, questioned the need for widespread COVID-19 vaccinations, saying in a radio interview "what do you care if your neighbor has one or not?" Johnson, who has no medical expertise or background, made the comments Thursday during an interview with conservative talk radio host Vicki McKenna. Johnson went on to say that he believes COVID-19 is a good enough pretext for the vast left-wing conspiracy to keep the country locked down. "You're talking about climate change as the next step -- I don't think they're going to let go of COVID-19 anytime soon," he added.

In the most bizarre divide I've ever seen, Gorsuch (joined by Thomas, Breyer, Kagan, Sotomayor, and Barrett; dissent by Kavanaugh, Roberts, and Alito) says certain immigrants can stick around in certain circumstances. I'm not very familiar with the "stop-time" rule but SCOTUSBlog says the court held that "a notice to appear sufficient to trigger the “stop-time” rule under a 1996 federal immigration law must be a single document containing all the information about an individual’s removal hearing."

Sometimes I think the court enjoys fcking with public perception of each Justice's ideologies and judicial philosophies a bit. Thomas probably just wants to limit the paperwork involved, and thus the excuses an immigrant up for deportation could use to extend their stay. Barrett is probably sympathetic to situations involving children. From what I've read and heard from the far-right though, Roberts is a liberal turncoat and Gorsuch is on very thin ice after his ruling in the LGBTQ employment discrimination cases last year. ;-)

My guess is all will be forgiven when they rule on open carry later this year. Gorsuch and Barrett know who their paymasters are.
