I know two women who are 100% on Kavanaugh's side on this. It's a little disturbing to listen to their reasoning. A lot of "Satan is at work here; Kavanaugh wants to keep families together by his pro-life stance." And then it goes on and on.

I cant listen to Cornyn...the fellating of Kavanaugh and the "oh isnt she cute"ing of Ford is getting to be too much. The GOP has measured their remarks and its boring. The Dems might be echoing the same things in each speech but at least they are finding different ways to say it. If I had time I would listen to everyone but I dont so I hope I at least get to hear Amy or Kamala cause I have a feeling they might blow a gasket.

If the result is fixed anyways I want to at least be entertained. Then we can have all weekend to accept the fact that an alleged sexual predator, in the modern era, is going to be on the highest court. A man who claimed during his confirmation that allegations of misconduct against him were part of a Clinton Revenge Lead Left Wing Conspiracy, is going to decide legal precedent.

I know someone, highly educated, who believes the Clinton/Dem Conspiracy angle. Even he would say those women are nuts.

I had someone comment to me yesterday that they found Dr Ford coming off as a confused, helpless person who talked like a little girl, not a college professor, and that was to them the most startling part of her testimony. They went on to say she came off as someone who could easily be used and manipulated. I don't buy all of what was said to me, but she really didn't come off as professorial and with speaking presence in the clips I heard.

Then again, Kavanaugh went from hot to cold to flat (repeat) which seemed way out of prior character and left me wondering why and which was real and which was for the cameras.
