whatWhew, droppin' bombs. But no, universal healthcare isn't a "fringe" stance, sorry dude. To be clear, it should be, but it's not.
AOC said candidates who don't support it should be seen as fringe candidates. Which is true because it's very popular among the American people and keeps gaining popularity, especially as Millenials are about to become the majority of voters in this country. He is saying that what that tweet said (that not being for UHC is somehow fringe) is BS.

And as I've said before to you, that isn't true. Instead of paying a private insurer more than you would the government to not have everyone covered (and all the medical bankruptcies that taxpayers foot the bill for) you're coming out ahead. It's not difficult to understand when explained in those terms and this isn't some oversight by everyone in that graph as you're magically making it out to be. Everyone knows taxes would increase, they wouldn't support it if they didn't think they were coming out ahead under such a policy.
I kinda doubt everyone who responded to that poll just completely failed to understand the cost implications.

I posted an article from a Minnesota Republican in the PPACA thread on this topic. He seems to think that the Republicans have all the good ideas and ideas like this one are going to destroy Minnesota and the United States.
... its popular until the tax increases get mentioned, then it sinks like a stone. ... I'm all for Millenials asserting their priorities but that starts with actually voting, ...
So the guy that's in the GOP system, he thinks the GOP has the best solutions? Consider me shocked, and knock me over with a feather.
That's just it though. What's the solution? Nothing? I've been waiting for their ideas for years.
I think the Senate will confirm Kavanaugh.
