Re: SCOTUS 10: Pack the Court!

For me the whole article reeks of ethics issues...could be just me though.

Re: SCOTUS 10: Pack the Court!

If that is the case there is no one in law that is in politics that doesnt have an ethics issue. It doesnt look good but nothing does when put under a microscope.

Re: SCOTUS 10: Pack the Court!

If it's ACB some folks will melt down. Why?

Anyone have the Vegas book on the possibles? I still would like to put $5 on Sen. Mike Lee if he's 100:1 or more.

Isn’t tD’s sister in play?

She didn't even make the list of 25 this time.

Going to be itchy around the Thanksgiving dinner table. ;)

PS - mook, I worry when you use the phrase "in play" in regard to any female. ;)

Top 4 I heard this morning are.

Brett Kavanaugh
Raymond Kethledge
Amy Coney Barrett
Thomas Hardiman

Hardiman had been moving up all weekend.

Another Constitutionalist...one with a vendetta against the Clinton's. This should end well.

Re: SCOTUS 10: Pack the Court!

Do you suppose this entered into Trump's thought process? From wikipedia:

In 2009, Kavanaugh wrote an article for the Minnesota Law Review where he argued that U.S. Presidents should be exempt from “time-consuming and distracting” lawsuits and investigations, which “would ill serve the public interest, especially in times of financial or national security crisis.

Maybe...but I bet it has more to do with him being part of the Starr investigation. This guy is Flaggy with a law degree.

That's certainly important, but Trump's biggest risk factor now is Mueller. And Trump thinks in the present only.
