Re: SCOTUS 10: Pack the Court!

That sh-t solves nothing, Scooby. It just divides us. Frankly we don't have time for any more of that bullsh-t. This is the fight of our lives -- I don't give a sh-t if the guy in the next foxhole has bad breath, if he's fighting with us then I am 100% for him. I am 100% for Rover, and for you.

My country is dying. A bunch of monsters have conned a massive number of fools into cutting all our throats. The most powerful army in the world has fallen into the hands of a petty ignoramus and his cadre of morally weak cowards. Half the country doesn't care.

Look at people on the right saying no big deal. That's the most important thing, here. It's not that there's evil in the world, of course there is. It's that if somebody is wearing the right jersey then a thousand completely reasonable people will turn a blind eye to everything they do, because of the jersey. No doubt it would be exactly the same is the jerseys were reversed.

I could throw up. I don't see a practical way out. You can't fight for law when the arbitrars of the law are the criminals. We can vote but they'll disallow our votes. I don't know what we can do except just stop. Stop working, stop buying things, stop everything.

We're divided. We're always divided. They're divided too. They have issues they rally around that ties them together. We fail at that every single day. We (Democrats) thought the last two elections weren't worth our time. I thought they were. I voted. Didn't matter.

You can start with the two that just happened. Which were horrible. Then you can add in that abortion will be gone. Citizens United will be permanent. Least of our problems? The Court decisions of the last 20 years have drastically effected American life.

affected.
Horrible to whom? I think R v W was horrible, and every January like minded folks gather in DC to protest. I think PPACA was wrong, but I moved on and want the Congre$$ to kill most of it. I think Obergfell was an federal overreach and will have unforeseen consequences. However if Jane and Judy want to get married, who cares? And if Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice want to get hitched, as long as the kids are alright, who cares?

In other words, stop whining and get out there and petition the legislature and vote.

I guess for me I have a different set of concerns. Whether we have abortion, gun control, etc isn’t going to move the needle very much. $20 trillion dollars of debt combined with demographic challenges and other issues will.

Yeah, sure. We better get back. They mostly come at night.

I don't know what to do and I am no leader. But I do know whining and crying isn't the answer.

Wow. You don't have a libertarian bone in your body. You are a full out authoritarian fascist.

So you support the party that just increased the debt by 2 trillion to give rich people a tax break.

Nice try, but you're not fooling anyone. Deficits only matter when dems are in control.

I’m 100% against the tax cuts. I’m still a conservative, but not a republican.

Geez, you left out "pea pickin'" :)

Taken out of context. Read next 2 sentences.

That's great that you think you're a libertarian while simultaneously thinking that equal protection doesn't really apply to gay people at the federal level. That's really comforting.

Again, bless your heart.

Re: SCOTUS 10: Pack the Court!

joe and Drew are never changing their minds or their votes. They are sunk cost and about 25 years too old to matter anyway.

The future is the brats. Start talking to the brats and showing them just what all of this is doing to their futures. If you're in your 30s or younger you better start fighting for your country or these fat old pathetic sick dinosaurs are going to pull it after them into their graves.
