Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

UMD wins 3-2 over Minnesota in the WCHA Final.

Refs should be fired after all the missed calls that led to the game getting very much out of control in the 3rd.

Looked like Anne Schleper missed the entire 3rd period as well for UMN. Didn't see her get hurt.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

After two: Cornell 3, Clarkson 1. Clarkson's Melissa Waldie finally gets the Knights on the scoreboard with 2:40 left in the second period.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Wait, does that INCLUDE their roster or is this over and above?

It's a fair question, no?

Aside from the players and coaching staff. Didn't see or hear from them much in the semi's. Didn't make the trip down to PC today so the crowd may have grown over night.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Goals by Clarkson's Juana Baribeau and Danielle Boudreau in the third period to tie it up. Going to OT.
I was told that the WCHA final started as early as it did in part to facilitate booking flights for the NCAA quarters. That doesn't do much good if the ECAC does not follow suit. Murphy's law would demand that this game go to OT.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

OK, I will leave the standing room only section open for them.

Let's be fair now -- this BU team was pretty average most of the season, was not at all favored to win Hockey East, and had no buzz throughout the year. You would hope some fans would be willing to jump on the bandwagon now that they've accomplished something this weekend.

The .500 defending champion men are hosting Merrimack in a HE quarterfinal series. Is it really worth sticking around for that?
