Scoreboard

Shared, centralized, timely updates, like the old days, rather than hunt and peck in various threads. Yes?

Yes! Thank you, and the same goes to ARM for creating a ECAC thread. I’ve finally come around to using the scoreboard function on the main uscho site but it’s nice to have a place for commentary too.

Uw 2 Tommies 0 after 1. Shots 19 4. Tommies did get thier sea legs around the 7 minute mark with a couple nice chances including a post.

Lakers defeat Clarkson in OT, getting a split on the weekend. Defender Sydney Pedersen with the goal on a break away.

3rd break away of the game for the Lakers, nice job forcing turnovers, and eventually getting one by Clarkson.
Freshman Johansson is a nice addition for the Lakers, nice passer, on the ice for all 3 Laker goals this weekend.

Elsewhere, head coach Celeste Brown got her first 2 non conference wins as RIT beat St Michaels by a combined 17-0.

Lakers win 2-0 over Engineers. Glad to see Boucher put one in the net on the power play. Nice game by Perreault with a great pass on the power play and causing havoc when Engineers net was empty, helping Javier to her first college goal. Brenon with the shutout.

11-0 final. SOG were 59-14.

Holy cannoli! Anyone that had eyes on the game care to comment? I thought Mankato was a sleeper threat. Hopefully the Gophers don't leave it all in Mankato, and have enough to avoid a letdown tomorrow.

The Landcows can't play the Tunnelers that passively. If you're going to lose by the margin that this afternoon's game was you might as well be more aggressive in forechecking the Tunneler defensemen. It couldn't be any worse that sitting back and watching tunneler after tunneler skating circles around you. That being said, this group of forwards for the Tunnelers is prettty dang good.

The landcows should show up better in tomorrows game would be my guess but with them being shorthanded on the defensive end it could be another long game for them.

This game was so lopsided that Crazy Dave phoned in the Rouser after the last two Gopher goals.

The officiating was hideous, in the opposite way from my usual complaints. At least half of the penalties called were phantoms.

Kind of confirms what RightbackatU stated in the Ecac thread

WI 8-0 3rd period shots were 13 to 3, but BSU had the puck more in the 3rd than the 1st and 2nd combined x 2 (which still isn't much), but they did not generate a lot of shots off of the possession. UW did not maintain their sharpness either in the 3rd, sloppy play. Hopefully tonight we see both teams play their best for 3 periods.
