Scoreboard

Clarkson with the best scoring chance in the 1st OT period. Cherkowski with a 2 on 0 and Dukaric makes a great glove save.

Until this game, Cornell once and Colgate twice were the only ECAC teams to score more than 2 goals on Yale.

OT 2 coming up.

And one thing about Clarkson, they're like Hill-Murray boys, they play better at the end of the year!

Clarkson 4 Yale 3 in the first min of OT 2. Markowski with a shot from the point that somehow trickles thru Dukaric 5 hole. Looked like it might have deflected downward in front off a Yale player on its way to the net as the shot was not that hard.

Wow! Clarkson beats Yale at the thirty second mark of the 2nd overtime. Congrats all for a wonderful game.
Now we'll see what the pairwise experts tell us what are the National Tournament probabilities!

I can tell you right now, Clarkson either win tomorrow or have Northeastern win HE. That is the two ways they can make the NC$$. They lose and NE loses and they are out.

With the OSU win and the Yale loss, I'm pretty sure that the Buckeyes are locked in to the #1 seed.

Gotta say...I enjoyed Annie Pankowski doing the broadcast of the WCHA playoff games. She did a very nice job.

The Tunnelers...WTH, I guess even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. 4-2 over the sinners with an ENG to seal the deal.

And Colgate is making mincemeat out of the Bobcats 4-0 after 2 periods

Peterson from Providence just took a 2 minute minor for getting crosschecked to the ice after the whistle. Northeastern up 2-1 in the 2nd.

Yale vs Northeastern. Wisconsin and NEWHA winner go to Colgate. Duluth goes to Minnesota. Who joins Duluth in Minneapolis and who goes to Ohio State is up to the seeding committee, because they have to break up the 8-vs-9 ECAC teams, Quinnipiac and Clarkson. Probably Quinnipiac and Penn State to Ohio, and Clarkson plays Duluth in MN.
