Saturday scores, who will move out out last place Midd or UNE

And that's the problem. Unfortunately for good goalies on great teams, you don't really know sometimes how good the goalie is. And this year, Beckwith really hasn't been tested. But, he also hasn't allowed his team to ever get into trouble, and that's worth something.

On the opposite side of the ledger, sometimes decent goalies on lousy teams get too much credit simply because they are the only ones playing well on a lousy team.
Agreed in regards to good goalies on great teams not getting much love. Hince was often looked at as being a product of his team, but in retrospect there is not a Platty fan out there that doesn't wish he would have stayed. To say Beckwith has not been tested this year is not entirely true. It's not like the Lakers hold teams to small shot totals. They give up 26/27 shots a game and from the games I have watched some are high quality chances where Beckwith is up to the task. Do I think he is the best goalie in the country? I haven't seen enough of the goalies to make that assertion. But from what I have seen he is very consistent and has been as much a part of his team's 10-0 start as any other player.

certainly sounds like the "stupid" penalties are beginning to mount for Oswego...beginning of a come back for Geneseo?

Let's not get carried away here...

not getting carried away...but certainly a continuing story with the lakers penalties. at the same time it shows the dominance that the penalty kill has had through the season.

Yeah, I meant it more that I've seen a lot of this situation from Geneseo in the last few years. Generally doesn't end well for the Ice Knights.

Well said.

stick a fork in this one. 4-0 Lakers. They certainly sound like they are the #1 team in the country tonight. Way to go boys
