Function of team he is playing for or his ability?? I mean if he was @ Potsdam, would the Bears be in the SUNYAC top 3?

He is certainly underrated, his name belongs in the discussion based on his stats and until now I have never heard anyone outside of Oswego mention him in this light. I for one am glad we have him in net, he above all things is a kid who knows how to win.

Hard to think Beckwith can be the best in country after being a backup last year behind KGT.

Beckwith is really good, but I still thin BJ O'Brien is better.

Geneseo took it to Oswego for good portions of that period. Had lots of grade A chances, but couldn't find the back of the net either because of Beckwith, the goal post, or just missing on their shots.

When Oswego got that power play and scored, the tide turned the other way.

Didn't know you had to be so careful with what adjective you thought best described the game.

Beckwith isn't the best goaltender in the SUNYAC, let alone country.

And that's the problem. Unfortunately for good goalies on great teams, you don't really know sometimes how good the goalie is. And this year, Beckwith really hasn't been tested. But, he also hasn't allowed his team to ever get into trouble, and that's worth something.

On the opposite side of the ledger, sometimes decent goalies on lousy teams get too much credit simply because they are the only ones playing well on a lousy team.
