I'm not angry at all, just stated what the official box score said. Shots were 10-8 USM after 1. Shots in the 2nd were 14-9. So to be outshooting Williams 23-8, USM needed to get the first 11 shots of the period, then get outshot 9-1 the rest of the period -giving up 5 goals in the process.

Did he keep them in the game early? Obviously, and he probably played pretty well in general. Did he steal the game? No, unless you think a normal goalie would have given up 8 goals on 32 shots.

It's not arrogance; if I think I'm right about something you're going to have to logically convince me otherwise. I don't understand why people get all upset if someone disagrees with them.

But the whole context of the game would have been changed if USM had been able to pot one earlier...That's what I am trying to get at..I am not mad, disagree all you want but you are wrong :) lol

Potsdam 1

Hobart is looking like the better team of there for sure, Potsdam is just barley keeping with them out on the ice, as Hobart is getting most of the chances.Potsdam got that lone goal so far on the Powerplay and just happen to shoot at Nick Broadwater when he lost his stick and therefore was unable to stop the puck.

Neumann is up 2-0 on Elmira in the beginning of the second.

Elmira is apparently playing "like garbage". Although that's not anything new for them this season.

Right, in the grand scheme of things Purdy didn't really steal the game but he did give the offense a chance to get rolling. Actually all any goalie can do is give his team a chance to win. For about two periods he was stealing the game but then the wheels fell off for USM and it became moot as remy said.
