If you look at the WBNY schedule they had a basketball game last night at 8, but will be doing the hockey game tonight at 7:00pm

So there is no way to know how the Utica/Buffalo State game is doing once it starts? :(

Hobart/Potsdam St. starting in a few...i'll be posting scores as they come.

I'm slightly surprised that Gershon is starting in net for Geneseo. Still should be a good game to listen to.

Everytime I've seen Geneseo play this year, Rubeniuk has been in net. So, I don't know if this is bad luck forGeneseo that Corey is playing when I'm here...

Very disappointing crowd so far for such an important game.

BTW, Schultz does like to alternate his goalies on a weekend, and Rubeniuk started yesterday. Of course, he could have swapped the starters. And Gershon did start against Plattsburgh earlier in the year.

Sorry it was 2-0... Williams scored on 3 consecutive shots in the 2nd....Just wondering why you have to be so arrogant??? Is it really needed???? Is this a way for you to get your anger out????:rolleyes:

Oswego scores on the PP on an OBVIOUS offsides play. Horrible, horrible non-call by the refs.

Jaslow, you know as well as any that Geneseo's crowd doesn't show up until halfway through the first (at the earliest).

Geneseo running a fundraiser for cancer based on the number of goals the Ice Knights score tonight. Might have been a better idea to use goals scored by both teams...

Broken Jaw: he facemask came up and his jaw hit the dasher: it happened about six feet from me....He made a sequence of saves on Rutt, Conter and Rautenberg. that were amazing...

Might explain it then if he alternates hi goalies...I did not know that. Then again, I also thought I'd hear Jones in net last night for Oswego.

Yeah, I know, but I had to get my line in while I had the chance. :D

Besides, it's ridiculous. This isn't NYC where you have to worry about traffic. All the students have to do is walk from the freaking dorms to the rink! And don't tell me they are squeezing in study time before they come to the game...

I haven't been on these forums for three or four years, but I figured I'd get on tonight to see what people were saying about the Geneseo/Oswego game. As I expected, I see that many of the same characters are still here (8,000 posts older). Then, I see that Prez is an SID at Norwich... Oh, how we've all grown up.

Anyway, congrats, Prez. Go Ice Knights!

Is there still a pep band at Geneseo? I am so out of the loop.

Oh, it is ridiculous, always has been. The scene of hundreds of people filing out of the Ira as a game went to overtime my freshman year is burnt in my memory. For the vast majority of students, hockey games at Geneseo are a social event before you go to the bar, nothing more.
