Saturday scores 2/6/2010

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

Ryan Corry puts the Cards up 1-0 on the PP....assists to Delong and Farrow at 19:01 of the first.

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

2 -2 in Waterville - final

Rough trip for Amherst.

Williams is emerging as the class of NESCAC.

I don't know if I'm quiet ready to annoint Williams the class of the NESCAC yet.

That conference is pretty much a jumble******* between Williams, Amherst, Middlebury, Trinity, Bowdoin, and Colby.

It wouldn't surprise me if any of those six won the conference (except for maybe Bowdoin because they always choke:cool: )

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

if the box score is correct, when is the last time there were only 600 people at an SNC vs UWS game at Wessman...I don't think i've ever been to one that wasn't standing room only

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

Elmira:1
Hobart:1

End of 1.

EC leads shots 14-9.

1st period scoring summary

(6:17) Elmira 1. Rusty Masters (13) from Vaillancourt, Clewlow. 1-0 EC
(8:46) Hobart 1 [SH] Matthew Wallace (12) from Moriarty. Tied 1-1.

EC Alumni weekend this weekend. Elmira women won 7-1 over Buffalo State last night. Men looking to make it a three game sweep of Hobart tonight after taking both at the Cooler in November.

Colby's 6-5-4 in league, I'd be shocked if they won it.

Trinity's a bit iffy, but other than those two, you're pretty much right about the potential regular season champs in my opinion.

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

Gustavus Adolphus a very quiet 12-1-1 in their last 14 games after their sweep of Concordia-Moorhead this weekend.

This team seems to be the one everyone keeps forgetting about and don't forget they were in the finals last year and really only lost their goaltender from that squad.

shhhhhh:o

But in all seriousness after watching the games this weekend, it looks like they are hitting their stride at the right time. If Rossi stays in net, things are looking up. Remember Rossi has yet to loose this season (8-0-1). (knock on wood)

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

Quiet just cause I feel many haven't been talking about them outside of our esteemed MIAC correspondent;)

I think many people were starting pencil Hamline in as the favorite for the MIAC and then out west most talk has been centered around CSS, SNC, and Adrian.

That's all I was saying:cool:

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

Elmira takes a ton of penalties in 2nd...boarding..charging...game misconduct.

We'll have to wait and here game reports from Don, Elbo, RonT etc to hear about what's going on at the Domes tonight but something is going very wrong.

Hobart has two power play goals in the period and leads 4-1 halfway through...

Looks like another top 10 team is in serious trouble.

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

So I'm officially ready to upgrade Morrisville from the Ponies to the Colts with this showing against Plattsburgh.

They might be Mustangs here pretty soon:cool:

Re: Saturday scores 2/6/2010

Kevin Willer from Masters and Vaillancourt cuts the Hobart lead to 4-2 right now.

Moving in the right direction EC.

Hopefully they can push another one across before the end of the period.
