Saturday January 30th Scores: A Whiteout in Oswego #4 vists #1

Re: Saturday January 30th Scores: A Whiteout in Oswego #4 vists #1

Because it has much bearing on anything as a poll of which uniform my roomate's cat likes the most. :)

If you want to get into a discussion of how the eastern seedings will be affected by this game, that's another story. But the poll isn't worth worrying about.

Okay, no offense. The poll makes it interesting until the NCAA's come out, thats all. There is a matter of pride to be listed #1,2,3 etc for the year after all. And I am proud of this Norwich team and the fact they play good hockey. I love the game too, it just makes it more fun if the team you root for is doing well. Enough said, good night and good luck:)

2-1 Oswego, Fox at 11:36 of the first. Flat-out defensive lapse on that one; Leis got hung out to dry.

Re: Saturday January 30th Scores: A Whiteout in Oswego #4 vists #1

And the scoreboard takes a beating as a Platty player puts a hole in the south video screen

1-0 Potsdam up on Cortland.....late in the first........Cortland's goalie has been playing extremely well so far....

End of First Period at the Cooler:

Manhattanville 0
Hobart 0

Re: Saturday January 30th Scores: A Whiteout in Oswego #4 vists #1

2-1 Lakers through one in Oswego. Very entertaining first period, wide-open with good chances at both ends. Plattsburgh looked good cycling the puck on the power play, but Oswego has stayed disciplined and content to let Plattsburgh burn seconds passing around the periphery.

End of the First at the ThunderDomes:

Elmira 1
Utica 0

Shots so far:

Utica 6
Elmira 12

Elmira's PP goal scored by Darcy Vaillancourt.

Elmira will start the second period on the Powerplay for about 1:50.

Campus Center being evactuated, fire alarm went off during the intermission. I'm not sure anyone knows exactly what's going on.

Re: Saturday January 30th Scores: A Whiteout in Oswego #4 vists #1

The fire Alarm's always going off at the UC games....because we have soo many people at our games they stand on the top row of the Aud and set off the fire alarm....but we never have to evacuate the building. But the Utica Fire Department always responds.

How many people are their at the game in Oswego tonight? anyone know?

Re: Saturday January 30th Scores: A Whiteout in Oswego #4 vists #1

If it was indeed intentional, I just hope they track down the punk who pulled it. That bs is not a joke in a packed arena.

Edit: Word from the SID on the webcast is that it was an unintended false alarm.

Hobart strikes first with an even strength Goal.

Christopher Bower gets the goal for the Statesmen.

Hobart leads M'ville 1-0 midway through the first period.

Re: Saturday January 30th Scores: A Whiteout in Oswego #4 vists #1

Gotta be 3K here. SRO is packed.

Bad job on evacuating people. Ushers didn't know where to send folks. One door here on NE corner leads to roof of adjacent bldg and plenty were sent out there.

Mustve been a false alarm I guess.
