Oh well. Had to end at some point. UWS played their best hockey of the season this weekend, just wasn't enough. Another first round exit---getting old.

Yeah, you're right. No one else in the NCHA has done much in the past 20 years, pretty one sided conference if you ask me.

Relax. I'd say looking at the last 10 years its has been quite one sided and 10 years before that atleast the early part of the decade Stevens Point was pretty dominant.

There's no denying its a great conference and Superior and River Falls have also had their due winning a couple of title the last 20 years as well.

Agree, rather it happen now then in the playoffs. Hopefully this will get their heads out of their butts and they will bring it for the playoffs. I don't think it was smart of Gosek to play KGT for both games as it appeared he just wasn't focused.

Wasn't focused...Sounds like a certain former Plattsburgh goalie :p

Maybe he's ready to make his MMA debut

Somewhere the Devils Advocates are crying in a corner.

Kudos to Point and the Rowdy Crowd.

After all those extra periods, everyone is probably to buzzed to realize what has happened, and for that they are better off.

Hats off to Point. They certainly earned it.

Point: Kings of the Mini-game.

Williams 4 Skidmore 1

What's Skidmore's problem; besides poor reception in the rink?

It's def the coldest rink I've been in! ;) And yes I know we are talking about ICE hockey... I'm just sayin.:p

Without a doubt the coldest rink I have been in...Didn't like the netting all the way around the rink as well...

A goaltender interference was called on the GWG, yet it still counted.

Goaltender interference and yet the ref doesn't waive off the goal:confused: Manhattanville player runs over Tuttle! You can accept defeat when you get beat fairly, but that was a crappy way for EC to lose when they had a good effort.

They "changed" the call to charging...

CYA zebra style

Did they do that AFTER one of the EC fans yelled that they would need a Police Escort? Just saying, poor ***** comment if you ask me even if it was a BS call.
Perhaps the swinging of the brooms BEFORE the game started might have had an impact on the Refs:rolleyes:

Re: Saturday, February 20, 2010 - Scores, updates.... some teams' seasons end tonight

The refs ruled that the puck was in before the interference. We could have won that if not for a few missed open nets and 2 posts. It was just one of those nights the puck just wouldn't go in.
Manhattanville goalie played well. It's tough to sweep a good team 3 straight. The loss, however, I don't think made much difference as far as we were in a position before where we need to win the ECAC-West tournament. If we win it, we are still in.
Just thought we'd have a little fun with the brooms, but it brought bad luck.:(
I bring the Jackals bad luck, too, as the only 2 games of the last 13 they lost were the 2 I was at.
Hopefully we'll be healthy and ready to go and we can repay Neumann for last year. :)
There's nothing like playoff hockey. The only bad thing is it means it's almost over.
