But we're not talking about any distinction between men and women, here, though. This bias infects both equally. It is, for once, not misogyny -- not directly. It's blindness, and anyone can go blind.

I'm not advocating for them. Throw them in a hole and throw away the hole. They damage innocent lives.

But it could have been us. We aren't better people, just luckier.

That's what a non-trivial fringe means.

Let's say a third of the world is fasc. A third is what we once called "liberal" in the West. And a third are tomato cans.

Yeah they actually fled in the 80s. They own a Russian restaurant and they’ve had to publicly state many times they support Ukraine because if all the threats they got.

The problem is that they’re winning and you’re dismissing them as a fringe.

Your mentality is the problem. You need to get rid of your sympathy for these “people”. Stop thinking of them as a small, unlucky, misguided group. They’re a large, faithful army willingly following along.

Yeah I regretted my post. We are better. They are wrong and their wrongness does spring from choices, and their wrongness harms people. I was trying to draw distinction like first and second degree murder. But (1) no need if the sentence is the same, and (2) probably not the place to make that argument, pretty clearly.

So I surrender on both points. I'll go push my tile guy down the stairs and break his neck and feel good about it.

TBH he is taking a long time...

Because I think people who believe women are dog shit, and all the other lovely things they believe like vaccines are fake, etc are terrible, shitty people.

I know it’s easier for wealthy white men to tell everyone they’re being nuclear and hysterical, but people who aren’t rich white men may disagree

You may say this in jest but it’s the kind of thing that this world could use a little of right now. I get that plenty of you don’t like or want violence but we are at the stage where it is truly the only solution to our problems.

When putting them to shame doesn’t work, making them fear should be the next step.

It’s hard for some peoppe to empathize when they don’t have much, if anything, to lose. And I don’t mean that as a personal insult to anyone.
