RPI vs AIC 10/24/09

Re: RPI vs AIC 10/24/09

For anyone who's been to the Field House this year - is the band still on the stage at the east end, or did they move? They sound much louder on WRPI than they have in the past.

Re: RPI vs AIC 10/24/09

same location as always

Ok, thanks. There was talk a couple of years back about moving the band up near the student section somewhere, but I guess that hasn't panned out yet. Now that the announcers are back on, it sounds like they might've just turned up the microphones when the band was playing the anthems, making it sound louder.

When I played with them during UNH, they're still on the stage. There's a good number, and the conductor has been doing a good job working on sound quality, so that's why they sound louder.

Seeing as how the band got moved to Section 21 during women's games, they'd NEVER play at the student's section.
