RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16

With so many of the other teams recruiting some real size both on D and up front, I am not a big fan of smaller D men in our line up. When you have to contend with 6'5" 230 pound forwards in front of the net, Newton's Laws really do have an effect. Say what we will about Cornell, they always have some size on that team and they have been very successful using that.
OSU found a way around that yesterday, but I am getting off topic. :)

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16

It sounds like Patrick Polino didn't play in the previous games either because he didn't get back from home or had an injury/illness, not because of poor performance.

That's 4 games with an aggregate 28-2 score. The final is at 4 PM.

Bendorf with the first goal of the game this morning and an assist later. I hope to get an update later.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16

It’s always good to have a Doctor in the house :)
Especially one who is getting updates from a friend at the tournament! I hope they are staying for the afternoon game today but with this being New Year's Eve I cannot be sure.

I am still thinking about going but it might be even worse than normal in the slums of Anacostia on New Year's Eve.

i know nothing of the neighborhood-but if it is as you describe, there would be no way we would attend. We have learned our lesson in the past. Jen loves to dress well for the games we attend since we usually go out for dinner before or after. No way we can feel safe doing that in some areas. When we go into NY for the Ranger games at MSG we normally ride the train from here in NJ and although we feel quite safe at the Garden, we do not have that same comfortable feeling on the train. Unfortunately, some of the venues we want to attend are located in areas where we just will no longer travel to.

I have never been to the Ft. Dupont rink. It's just my opinion of the general area added to by what joecct emailed me. He said that it was better than it was when his kids played there. He said that I shouldn't have trouble unless I drive a Porsche since the parking lot is patrolled now.

Enough of this nonsense. :)

I forgot all about that penalty. I should have checked.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16

From numerous tweets, The Hun School won the Purple Puck tourney 5-4 (2-1) in a shootout. Jon Bendorf scored 2 goals and missed on a SO shot. I think his total line for the tourney was 5-7-6-13-X, but I will wait until the summaries are posted since there may have been changes after some of the games.
