On Saturday, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs defeated the Austin Bruins 6-2. Fairbanks has won the best-of-3 playoff series 1-0 and wins the Robertson Cup. This ends both teams' seasons. Viktor Liljegren scored 2 goals (1 PPG). 5 SOGs. He was named the #1 Star. :) Todd Burgess had no points or penalties. Liljegren's playoff line is now 14-5-3-8-4.

interesting that yesterday and today they’ve mentioned Hayhurst will attend RPI but I’ve yet to hear the same about Praps. I’ll assume it’s not in their notes.

I think you got it. BTW, did you notice the picture of Hayhurst to the right of the video if the video is not in full screen mode. It's clearly after his goal yesterday.

On Sunday, the Toronto Lake Shore Patriots defeated the Yorkton Terriers (SJHL) 5-1. Their Royal Bank Cup round robin record is 1-1. Michael Prapavessis scored a goal and had an assist. Jacob Hayhurst had no points or penalties. http://stats.hockeycanada.ca/game/game_sheet/6544949

Prapavessis' RBC line is now 2-1-1-2-0.

Edit: MP won Player of the Game for TLP. That's two for two for RPI recruits on TLP. :)

No, I missed the picture. Sure thought Praps was going to get an assist on the 5th goal.

I might as well post this now. The only game involving recruits is Vernon's RBC game against Yorkton http://stats.hockeycanada.ca/game/game_sheet/6544951 (video http://stats.hockeycanada.ca/game/show/6544951?subseason=142110.) I'll post the summary early tomorrow.

BTW, the RBC videos are archived. See the "Watch Archives" links at http://stats.hockeycanada.ca/schedule/league_instance/16335?subseason=142110#. The least for Saturday's Vernon game, they did not trim off the pregame microphone testing etc., so the game doesn't begin until about an hour into the webcast.
