Parker Reno is a finalist for Mr. Hockey, which is basically the Hobey Baker for Minnesota high schools, only it's just for seniors.

It's an honor just to be a finalist, BSM's Grant Besse (Wisconsin) is almost certainly going to win. Other finalists have been recruited by CC, UMD, MTU, and two to Minnesota.

That's great to hear. When I looked a couple of weeks ago no one was predicted that he would be one.

There is no doubt that we are just on an upward trend in the level of recruits we are getting.:)

On Friday, the Lincoln Stars defeated Tri-City Storm 4-3. Jimmy DeVito had a goal and an assist, but no fight. :eek: Jake Wood had no points or penalties. Riley Bourbonnais had an assist. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=1977819

DeVito's line is now 38-5-5-10-90.
Wood's line is now 39-9-10-19-101.
Bourbonnais' Lincoln line is now 8-1-3-4-6.
Total 41-17-18-35-40.


Saturday afternoon is the Lincoln-Omaha outdoor game. (1:35 EST)
