Unbelievable! I am going to have to find some DC-area kids to tout to counteract you and WS. :p

Actually, considering how little hockey is played around here, the fact we have gotten Cullen and Tinordi, as well as several women players, in recent years is quite impressive.

I might have to start paying attention to this area. Yeesh. (unless of course I'm still associated with the USHL for some reason)

Not sure what area you refer to as "this area," but we certainly have been getting a lot of Western NY players in recent years, what we haven't gotten anything from in the SA era is the CD.

that is odd considering the talent from the CD area, see; Patch Alber, Nick Petrecki, Peter Hand, Colin Stevens, Tyler Hynes, Jeff Taylor....just to name a few.

I didn't realize that there were that many.

I've never gotten overly excited about this. Appert is bringing in top level guys, which is all that matters to me. IIRC, Petrecki was a freshman in '07 when BC won the NC. ...he probably committed to BC before Appert even was hired, so can't pin that on Seth...his predecssor perhaps. Murley was our last hometown hero and he certainly didn't disappoint....we'll get another I'm sure.

...that's true about Petrecki, I probably shouldn't have included his name for that reason.....that's why I didn't include Brian Lashof.

Marc Cavosie arrived a year after Murley, although they both left at the same time. Eric C was there another year, but I guess he wouldn't be called a hero. I certainly agree that SA is bringing in top level talent and that is what really counts. I just thought it a bit odd that we haven't gotten anyone local recently. It might just be the law of averages as we have not had that many locals throughout history.

DeVito's latest at about 2:10

Looks like a win.

His goal is about at 4:45.

So far a goal for Jake Wood, perhaps ending his slump. As I wrote before DeVito isn't dressed.

Summaries will be posted later.
