We were very disappointed at Mennen Arena not getting to see Melanson play. At the time no one was saying anything about an injury. They play again Friday against Christian Brothers academy-who although Delbarton handled them easily earlier in the year, really is a pretty good team. Just hoping Melanson can play in that one-although Jen and i will not be going up to Newark for the games.

Poinstreak now shows that Bradley was credited with an assist in the game last night, and I believe his line should read as follows: 43-5-12-17-10.

Melanson isn't mentioned at all in this preview http://www.nj.com/hssports/blog/boysicehockey/index.ssf/2012/03/post_1.html. I guess it means that he probably isn't playing this evening.

Very odd to not be mentioned at all. At least he should have been mentioned as being out due to injury. They are the third and last game being played tonight in Newark-the two public school division finals come earlier.

It actually was a close game

with Delbarton coming back with three goals in the third period, although the SOGs were still lopsided.

We were not there but heard that down 2-0 in the third, Delbarton just through away all notion of defense and just kept swarming the net. Sure would like to see them play off against on eof the public school champs-Randolph. Have to wonder what has happened to Melanson since virtually no mention of anything about him now for 3 games.
