RPI Pros VI

Re: RPI Pros VI

It’s that time of year when a lot of college players on ATOs are released to get back & finish up school. Curtis Leonard is one..... http://www.echl.com/echl-transactions-april-12-p197347
Reading has kept Leonard on it’s Playoff Roster. Neal is on Quad City’s & Paddy Cullen is on Rapid City’s. Gwinnett, Higgs & Dolan, hasn’t released it’s Roster yet nor has Elmira (Bergin) or Brampton (Beef).... http://www.echl.com/echl-announces-rosters-for-2015-kelly-cup-playoffs-p197383

Everblades Statement Regarding Allen York...... Everblades goaltender Allen York was released from an Orlando hospital last night after suffering a whiplash-type injury to his neck in the third period of Florida’s Game 5 matchup against Orlando at the Amway Center.

York was involved in a collision with another player on the ice with 19.5 seconds remaining in regulation. York was carted off the ice as a precautionary measure and was later released from the hospital hours later. York is in good spirits and returned home to Southwest Florida this morning.

York is listed as doubtful for Monday’s Game 6 against Orlando at Germain Arena which begins at 7:30 p.m. The Everblades lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.

The team would like to thank all of fans and supporters for their thoughts and well wishes for Allen York last night and throughout the day on Sunday.

Hope Yorkie can get back in as soon as possible. Every time he gets some momentum rolling, he seems to get hurt.

From last night’s Fla. game; Goaltender Daniel Altshuller played the last two periods and both overtimes in relief of an injured Allen York who took a shot just before the end of the first period. He finished out the period but couldn't return after the intermission.

Poss didn't think Rowe's act was intentional but "unfortunately (York is) hurt. He'll now see a doctor and we'll see that happens.”......http://www.news-press.com/story/spo...05/08/blades-show-ot-magic-win-game/27028021/

Re: RPI Pros VI

Oates has notified GM Ray Shero that he will not return to the bench as an assistant under newly appointed head coach John Hynes, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.... http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Todd...o-New-Jersey-Could-Land-In-San-Jose/159/69187

He did great work with DeBoer and Robinson when he was an assistant in NJ a few years ago. He could probably do the same in San Jose if he does decide to go that direction, though I think that would be something of a tacit admission that he can't hack it as a head coach. I wonder if he'd consider coaching in the AHL or another lower level so he can figure out how to coach 5x5 and then making the jump back up to the show.
