USA will name their initial Roster for the ’18 Olympics on Friday, I wouldn’t be surprised to see JD'A & Nicky Bailen on the list.

Apparently I misread the statement a couple of days ago. They named the Coaching Staff today; Former NHL and current University of Wisconsin coach Tony Granato was named head coach of the U.S. Olympic team on Friday at a press conference at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. His assistants will be Chris Chelios, Scott Young, Keith Allain and Ron Rolston.

Jim Johannson, a longtime USA Hockey executive, was announced as the team's general manager.

Thought I’ld throw this out there. ADK (HC Tapper) vs Reading (HC MacDonald) Oct. 6 in Glens Falls for a pre-season game. The Thunder will take on the Reading Royals in a home-and-home set, beginning at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls on Friday, October 6, with puck drop slated for 7:00 p.m. The two teams will also meet the following Sunday, October 8, in Reading with puck drop slated for 4:00 p.m. at Santander Arena. http://www.echlthunder.com/news/?article_id=866
