Unless he signs the QO Kazzy will be ineligible to participate in Buffalo’s Player Dev. Camp......assuming the Sabres want him to. BTW, one of Rochester’s goalies, Makarov, signed in the KHL yesterday........... The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has tendered a qualifying offer to the following restricted free agents:

Forwards Daniel Catenacci, Marcus Foligno, Zemgus Girgensons
Defensemen Jake McCabe, Casey Nelson, Rasmus Ristolainen
Goaltender Jason Kasdorf http://sabres.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=887602

Kazzy isn’t on Buffalo’s Prospect Dev. Roster (http://sabres.nhl.com/v2/ext/2016-17 Development Camp Roster.pdf )..........FWIW, Buffalo goalie Chad Johnson has signed with Calgary

Did Buffalo at least start doing contract negotiations during the offseason? That's how they lost Briere and Drury in 2007... :mad:

Congratulations to Jason. With a two way contract and the lack of a superstar goalie in Buffalo, it would seem that he has a real chance to make it to the NHL. I don't think that York ever had an opportunity like this.
Even though York had good numbers in his NHL starts, he was never really given a chance. JMO
