Re: RPI Pros V

With Vancouver out of the playoffs and the Rangers in, is there any chance that one of both of our guys can get into an NHL game this year?

I think Z has the better chance as of right now. The Rangers are still fighting for home ice vs Philly with 2 games left. Was kind of nice last night switching from Fla. to Toronto watching BP and JD'A. Would love to have 4 teams to choose from. Would love it even more if all stayed for 4 ;)

I would expect Haggs to get in tonight. The Rangers' broadcasters said the other night that the coaches would be resting several players (forwards) tonight. Z might get the call tonight also........... As for the Canucks, it sounds like we'll see a full complement of the kids tonight. Look for Jacob Markstrom to make his second start in net, with everyone from Zac Dalpe and Jordan Schroeder to Frank Corrado to recent college signing Mike Zalewski stepping in...http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Caro...l-12-at-Edmonton-Draft-Lottery-Odds/194/59333

Maybe Haggs doesn't get in. Looks like the only forward to be scratched tonight is St. Louis who'll be replaced by Carcillo.....http://blueshirtsunited.com/posts/5...s&utm_content=twitter_1397324313#.U0mNJSgdXao

I guess Z is in tonight....... Seth Appert ‏@SethAppert 1h
Good luck to @zalews73 on his NHL debut tonight - very proud of you

Re: RPI Pros V

They had Z on the Kessler line to start the game. He lined up opposite Ryan Smyth, who's playing his last NHL game. They also pulled the rookie prank on Z by having him skate onto the ice for the pregame skate by himself. Announcers said that Z's parents didn't make the game...home in Utica watching on Hockey Night Canada.

Saw JDA play tonight. He still seems like he's trying to do too much. Of course, Toronto were a bunch of thugs and their coach got thrown out for pulling a Ruff in the 2nd.

Re: RPI Pros V

Congratulations to Zalewski on his NHL debut. Hopefully he impresses enough to come back to the NHL next season. Vancouver has to be in a rebuilding stage, and he might just get a real chance to make the team.

Re: RPI Pros V

Nice to see that he was used on the PP, shows that they are really taking a good look at him an all situations. Looking forward to next year already.
