Re: RPI Pick-To-Click 2019-2020

Congratulations to sezenack and RPI fan 4 life for their ill-gotten bonus point and weekly win.

I think this is the first time I have to break this out this season: No RPI player was worth anything on Friday night *heavy sigh*. Lowell was of course led by goaltender Tyler Wall (sezenack, RPI fan 4 life) with the shutout, but for those who abstain from picking opposing goalies, Conor Sodergren (2 G; no one) was the optimal choice.
The three RPI skaters (Jake Marrello, Brady Ferner, and TJ Samec) who figured in on their lone goal on the weekend each earned two points, but we didn't pick any of them. Merrimack also had a player stand head and shoulders above the rest as Chase Gresock (no one) potted a hat trick. We're all soooo happy for him.

RPI returns to ECAC play for the last two games before the break as we face two teams we absolutely must beat at home: Yale and Brown. As such, we will undoubtedly take no more than one point this weekend.

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday, December 6.

You may NOT choose the following player(s) for this weekend:
RPI: Chase Zieky, Patrick Polino, and Will Reilly
Yale: Tyler Welsh, Curtis Hall, and Billy Sweezey
Brown: Justin Jallen, Michael Maloney, and Zach Giuttari

Red Burgess
Blue St. Ivany

Saturday
Red Kjellberg
Brown Stillwell

Kjellberg isn't dressed for the Yale game. Let's change him to Mahshie for Saturday in case he won't play again. Probably he will and Mahshie won't. :)

Re: RPI Pick-To-Click 2019-2020

Congratulations to sezenack on his fourth weekly win, which has propelled him into the top spot!

RPI did score one goal on Friday, so I don't have to pull the whole worthless bit, but that was about it. Since it was his first goal of the season, none of us had picked Jakub Lacka. All the worse for us. Across the ice, 7 skaters (all of them eligible) were worth 2 PtC points, but they were all dwarfed by another goalie assist, making Corbin Kaczperski (no one) the optimal selection.
Saturday also saw only one goal scored in regulation by the boys in Cherry, but what a goal it was! Cory Babichuk (sezenack) fed a gorgeous cross-crease pass for the game-tying goal and struck again with another assist in overtime to be the clear MVP for RPI. Also a guy named Luke Krys (no one) scored for Brown.

You may NOT choose the following player(s) for this weekend:
RPI: Chase Zieky, Patrick Polino, and Will Reilly
