If it were later in the season, I probably wouldn't have taken them, but I'm always feeling a bit lenient in the early part of the year.

After making the best picks last week (if maybe a bit late), vizoroo did it for real this week for her first weekly win of the season and the overall lead.

Only scoring one goal means that the goal scorer is almost always the best option, and that truth held this week as Will Reilly (vizoroo, Ralph Baer, FlagDUDE08) was the MVP for RPI. For the victors, forward Alexander Payusov (no one) potted the first and last goals of the game. Both goalies played well enough to earn the QS, but neither was picked.

The ECAC schedule kicks off this weekend as we arrive to the first Hate Union Week of the season. Union is undefeated thusfar at 4-0-1, so our Engineers will have a tough time pulling down a point or two. Hopefully we have better luck!

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday.

Sorry for the lateness, I've been preparing for my final thesis committee meeting, which I had earlier today. This may be a recurring issue as I approach my defense, so I just ask that you bear with me.<hr>
Congratulations to hawthr and ME for getting on the board for the first time and taking the weekly win! I mean, they had the excuse that they hadn't made picks yet this season, but we can ignore that. Despite 14 goals being scored on the weekend, none of us earned more than three PtC points on either night or four points overall. A lot of wrong-night-syndrome.

The conference-leading RPI Engineers broke out on Friday with five goals, including two scored by MVP Patrick Polino (no one) and three assisted by newly ineligible Jacob Hayhurst (FlagDUDE08, vizoroo, capswon). Worst-team-in-the-conference Union was led by some guy we didn't pick (1-1–2; sam morton).
The next night, the perfect-in-league men in Cherry and White potted another four, as traansfer Donovan Ott (no one) buried two and Jacob Hayhurst (no one) made sure you all would never have to type his name again by adding another three assists for six (SIX!) on the weekend. also vas kolias scored a goal and we're all very proud of him moving on.

Hate Union Week ends and Hate Clarkson Week begins as RPI prepares to host the North Country travel pair this weekend. As previously stated, the weekend will kick off with a contest against the Western Conference Champ------wait a minute------didn't win anything of consequence last year Clarkson Golden Knights (3-2), followed by a Saturday match against the no-joke-actually-worse-than-us Saints of St. Lawrence (1-5).

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday.
