Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Meirs Moore is starting tonight at left wing, a forward position. I do see a player has chosen him tonight, and obviously I have him for tomorrow. How are we going to count him, as well as any future utility players, in terms of points and pick limits?

I completely missed that you had asked this. As stated in the rules post: "The designation for whether a player is at forward or defenseman will be determined on a game-to-game basis according to the box score at collegehockeystats.net." Meirs Moore was listed at LW, and he was scored accordingly. Of course, none of this matters because we got shut out.

vizoroo wins again, widening her lead atop the standings.

It's our old friend, "No one from RPI was worth anything on Friday night." Clarkson had a couple great options, with defenseman Greg Moro (vizoroo) tallying primary assists on each of the Golden Knights' first three goals and Jake Kielly (FlagDUDE08) posting the shutout.
Saturday obviously went a little better for RPI, with seven eligible skaters and goalies earning 2 PtC points. However, despite over a third of the team hitting that mark, only goalie Linden Marshall (QS; RPI fan 4 life) was picked to click.

Last week's results weren't quite as exciting as those from Hate Union Week, but we press on and take on the long road trip. On Friday, we take on the current ECAC KRACH champions in my neck of the woods, Quinnipiac (6-1). We follow that up with another tough match against Princeton (1-1-1) in NJ.

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst (oh my god no one else has more than 3 points)
Quinnipiac: Odeen Tufto, Craig Martin, and Brandon Fortunato
Princeton: Max Véronneau, Ryan Kuffner, and Josh Teves

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Sorry this is a little late, but our next game isn't until next week so it's fine. Congratulations to FlagDUDE08 on winning the weekly bonus point and taking over the top position (MavHockey14 also got a bonus point, hooray for them!).

RPI got shut out on Friday night, but thanks to Linden Marshall (no one) and his quality start, the game was 3-0 instead of like 6-0. Good for him. Across the ice, the chalk pick Chase Priskie (Ralph Baer, RPI fan 4 life, capswon, MavHockey14, FlagDUDE08) scored a goal and added an assist to be the co-MVP with goalie Andrew Shortridge (no one).
No one broke the two PtC point barrier for the Engineers on Saturday, but at least three skaters got there. Patrick Polino (lugnut92) scored the only RPI goal on the weekend with the help of freshman defensemen Brady Ferner and Kyle Hallbauer (no one). Princeton was led by a couple of ineligible players who combined for 11 PtC points. If you wanted to not cheat and actually earn points, you would have to choose goal-scorer Jackson Cressey (lugnut92), playmaker Alex Riche (vizoroo, MavHockey14, FlagDUDE08), or starting goalie Ryan Ferland (no one). Note that Ferland did not earn points for a shutout as he did not play the full game.

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Link back to the first post with details on scoring

We've got a little bit of a lull here as the men take a long Thanksgiving break before playing a weird broken home-and-home against the thankfully not-as-good-as-they-used-to-be UMass-Lowell Riverhawks (4-5-1). Unfortunately, Lowell has games this weekend, so I'm going to hold off on making the ineligible list until after their pair against UConn this weekend.

Picks must be in by 4:00 ET on Friday, November 23.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Somehow still just Jacob Hayhurst
UMass-Lowell: Kenny Hausinger, Ryan Lohin, and Seth Barton
