I'm afraid that I can't accept your picks for Friday. It's not that I don't believe you, but regardless of when you typed the picks, you didn't submit them until after Friday's game. It's a bummer for you that Makar was worth a whopping 10 points on Friday, but I can't set that kind of precedent. Full write-up to come later.

Week one has passed us by, and MavHockey14 has taken the first bonus point of the season!

Friday did not go well. Jakub Lacka (no one) scored the only RPI goal and defenseman Kyle Hallbauer (no one) earned the primary assist, making them the best options for the boys in Cherry. Across the ice, Cale Makar (no one, sorry vizoroo) exploded, tallying two goals and adding another pair of assists. Unsurprisingly, Matt Murray (no one) earned a quality start.
Uhh, Saturday did not go well. Jakub Lacka (no one) scored the only RPI goal and defenseman Will Reilly (MavHockey14) earned the primary assist, making them the best options for the boys in Cherry --- the best options for the boys in Cherry --- the boys in Cherry --- the best options for the boys in Cherry............. It's gonna be a long season, folks. Minuteman forward Mitchell Chaffee (Ralph Baer, MavHockey14, vizoroo) potted the last two goals and was a pretty nifty choice.

Moving right along. Time for the home-and-home set against UConn... wait, the other game isn't until 𝖿***ing January? What the hell is this schedule. Anyway, RPI continues their Hockey East league schedule with a lone game against the 1-0 Huskies of UConn. Let's try and score more than one goal a game this week? Someone other than Lacka do something?

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Saturday, October 13.

There are no ineligible players for this weekend.

Was watching UCONN vs. Quinny on ESPN+. Iskhakov got absolutely torched. Had his head down and originally no penalty called on play. Unfortunate for the kid but I dont think it was a dirty or cheap. Sorry Ralph if this isn't the spot for this post so feel free to move.

lugnut, thanks for accepting Saturday picks,That was an unexpected treat-thought I was frozen out for the weekend. And thank the schedulers for a Saturday game because I would have been late for Friday:o Need to get into gear here on the left coast.
