Well that's it for the first half. In a few weeks, we will kick off the second half against a team we already played (and lost to) in Northern Ireland, the Maine Black Bears (<strike>6</strike>8-7-1). <strike>They still have a pair against Quinnipiac this weekend, so I'll hold off on declaring their ineligible players. Feel free to have a look at their stats and pick players, but be wary that they may be ineligible in four days.</strike> Their ineligible players are now set. Pick away!

Picks must be in by 4:00 PM ET on Friday, December 29.

You may NOT choose the following players for this game:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Evan Tironese, and Mike Prapavessis
Maine: Mitchell Fossier, Eduards Tralmaks, and Patrick Holway

Black cubs: Tim Doherty( Just as I was looking at Maine's stats, a repeat of Blue Bloods was on tv and they were talking about promoting Timothy Doherty, I took that as a sign for my pick.)

Both games being at 4 = bad idea. Turnout Friday will likely be lighter than usual (I can't make it...work)

RPI didn't do very well this weekend, but I did! Congratulations to me on the weekly win!

A handful of RPI skaters earned a pair of PtC points in Friday's loss, including goal scorer Billy Jerry (no one), playmaker Patrick Polino (2 A; no one), and defenseman Jared Wilson (RPI fan 4 life). On the other end of the ice, Nolan Vesey (RPI fan 4 life, lugnut92) led the way with two goals and an assist. Both goalies earned quality starts.
RPI may have been held to just two goals on Saturday, but Will Reilly (no one) potted a goal and added an assist to have a monster night that none of us saw coming. Maine defenseman Brady Keeper (lugnut92, vizoroo) put up the same stat line with the added cherry of scoring the game-winner (how nice it would be if RPI players would score game-winners...).

And we're back! RPI kicks off the second half of the league schedule with road games against the surprisingly stumbling Harvard Crimson (5-6-1) and the bad-but-just-came-back-on-Denver Big Green of Dartmouth (4-8-2), followed by a home Tuesday night game against the same Harvard club.

Picks for all three games must be in by 7:00 PM ET on Friday.
