Re: RPI Pick to Click 2016-17
Congratulations to ME! (and also engineerhockeyfan) for winning this week on the back of dirty dirty Princeton points. At least RPI scored goals in both games this weekend...
Speaking of RPI scoring goals in both games, they only had one in the first game, making Jared Wilson (ineligible) the Engineers' MVP. Both he and his helper were ineligible, so the only RPI player worth anything was goalie Cam Hackett (no one) with 47 saves and the quality start. Quinnipiac was a bit more productive with three skaters hitting the 3 PtC point mark: Bo Pieper (1-1–2; lugnut92, engineerhockeyfan), Landon Smith (0-3–3; vizoroo, RPI fan 4 life), and defenseman Luke Shiplo (1-0–1; no one). They're all mean and no one likes them.
Saturday night was a different story for RPI (well less a different story and more a different chapter in this depressing story of a season), as Jacob Hayhurst (Ralph Baer) tickled the twine twice and defensemen Mike Prapavessis (no one) and Will Reilly (no one) each added a couple helpers. On the other side of the puck, Max Véronneau (2-2–4; lugnut92) and Josh Teves (0-3–3; no one) each put up big fantasy points for the Tigers.
