My apologies to any Phillies fans. (Well, not really, but I'll pretend for today.)
A sad version of "Last Time it Happened in Rensselaer Hockey"... The last time the Engineers scored 0 goals in two straight games against the same opponent was against Colgate in 2008 (Jan 12 and Feb 15). The last time RPI was shutout on consecutive nights was in 2005 (at Cornell / Colgate, Feb 18 and 19). Incidentally, that also concluded a string of three shutouts in four games (vs Harvard, Feb 11). The last time that RPI was shutout on consecutive nights against the same opponent was 2004 (at Dartmouth, March 13 and 14 to lose the quarterfinal series 1-2). As far as I can tell, RPI had never failed to score a goal in a weekend when playing the same team twice (but I may be wrong).
cnor79 won the week by being a traitor and choosing the opposing goalie. Let's everyone congratulate cnor for winning for the second (third) time ever, including the first of this new season.
BOOOOOOOOOOO!
Congratulations to mackek2 for remaining in first place overall by picking up four points this week.
To nobody's surprise (well, after the games were over, maybe there would've been some surprise going into the weekend), the two high-scorers on the weekend were Ferris State's goalies (Nelson on Friday and Motte on Saturday). The highest-scoring position players were Ouellette and Billins on Friday and Thompson and Milam on Saturday. No Engineers recorded a point.
Results!

I have posted a slightly bastardized version of my spreadsheet on my Dropbox account (link in first post). The macros still need cleaning up / refining, but you will be able to access the standings / list of picks.
