Sure thing.

REDaero, Smith is not in tonight's lineup (and probably not for an injury). Caveat emptor for tomorrow's pick.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to stick with him though, feel like he might get to play against SLU...Ralph, I thought they usually just brought everyone? Oh well, I'll just take the loss if he doesn't end up in the lineup...hopefully I haven't jinxed him out of it!

There is a limit on how many players are allowed to go on road trips.

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Well, everybody who picked Tremblay for cct should be happy. But, you know, if RPI would score more it would be more fun.:D

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Well, everybody who picked Tremblay for cct should be happy.
And there were five different posters who did.

No one picked the true high-scorer for (SUCKS!)... Corey Tamblin.

13 of the 18 posters have picked up at least one point this weekend and GRussinko has the early lead with 4 points.

In other, sadder news that emphasizes RPI's lack of scoring... RPI (as a team) has now had their eligible players produce more points than any other team's eligible players (CC put up 34 PtC points last weekend and RPI had 34 total PtC points after last weekend's games).

Tremblay-Tamblin. ToMAYto=ToMAAto.
It would be much more fun if RPI scored more.

Yes it would :(

Four posters failed to register a point (including babo / lugnut, who jinxed themselves) while GRussinko tallied six points for the win.

cnor continues to hold onto the overall lead (and increased it to 5 points) while I continue to work my way up the standings and FD08 vaulted himself into the top 10 with a solid 4-point weekend.

As I said previously, the top scorer for (SUCKS!) was Tamblyn, whom nobody picked while the Engineers' top scorer on Friday was Bergin (myself, cnor, and ehf) / Haggerty (GRussinko, mackek2, and Ralph). On Saturday, Weninger's shutout (nobody) was worth 5 points while Carey's pair of assists (GRussinko, MavHockey, Ralph, RKarger, and RPIHFH), Doherty's goal (myself, cnor, FDUDE, and vizoroo), and Pat Raley's assist (nobody) were all worth 2 points. And, we all know how important your RPI selection on Saturday was...

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Link back to the title post with details on scoring

The Engineers return home for the glorious tradition of Black Friday, hoping to keep their 7-0-1 Black Friday record intact. (Well, they're probably looking forward to breaking their 0-2-0 / 0-7-0 schnides, but I'll try and focus on the positive.)

Yale lost handily to Cornell before coming back and shutting out Colgate. Brown decided to do the reverse and won a back-and-forth affair with the Faux Red after dropping their Friday game to the Raiders.

Again, expect some injury updates through the week as we hear about if Neal / Laliberte will be back.

This is very important!

I will be travelling to NYC this weekend and I will likely not have access to my computer / the Internetz on Saturday / Sunday. The game against Union on Tuesday will still be a separate week. That means that there will probably not be a recap / lead-in post (written by me) in time for you to put up picks. The onus falls upon you to realize that there is a game being played on Tuesday and you have to make sure that you do not pick ineligible players. If someone else would like to put up a lead-in post with the ineligible players, that is perfectly fine by me. If you would like to put up your Tuesday picks with your Friday / Saturday picks, that is also fine. However, you are responsible for ensuring that those individuals are still eligible after this weekend's games against Yale / Brown. Most of you played last year and nearly all of you have a firm grasp on the rules, so I'm not concerned. But, it is very important that you understand what is happening and deal with it appropriately. Okey dokey? Good.

That was very important!

You may not choose the following players for this weekend:
Rensselaer:
F - Ryan Haggerty
D - Nick Bailen

Yale:
F - Clinton Bourbonais
D - Tommy Fallen

Brown:
F - Massimo Lamacchia
D - Matt Wahl

Ahh, zero points, just as I expected.

RPI ENGINEERS: C.J. LEE (because he has to score eventually, right?)
Ylae*: Colin Dueck

RPI ENGINEERS: BROCK HIGGS
We eat wheaties, we keep fit...: Dennis Robertson

Also, Ralph, Haggerty is on the banlist.
