Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

And, so concludes the 2010-11 season. BTW, I'm blaming the delay partially on not wanting to come to the reality that the season was over and partially on Senior Design absolutely consuming my life.

Congratulations go to REDaero91. She won the weekend, picking up six points from Zucker and seven from Malone. The top choices were: nobody on the Engineers squad registered a point; Elias and Roehl each netted a goal for the Broncos and contributed two points for PtC; Zucker's 4-point weekend made him good for 6 PtC points (ehf, hawthr, lugnut, and REDaero); Malone's 4-point weekend was also tops (myself and REDaero), tied with Dell's contribution for 2 wins and a shutout (Genoway's 5 assists were worth 10 points, instead of 7, but he was ineligible).

I really enjoyed running this for the season, and I hope that interest will continue through next season so that we can play again. A special thanks to fans of other teams (viz, allnightwong, Dutchfan, and FS23) who joined in for the game. And, of course, a big thanks to Ralph (for suggesting that we play) and all of the Engineer faithful who made this worthwhile.

So, with that, the standings for this past weekend (Week 22 - NCAA Regionals):

And, here's a separate post for the overall standings. Congratulations go to Ralph, whom only relinquished the lead for one week (after hosting Brown and Yale) but rebounded with a great score at Princeton and Quinnipiac and cruised to the overall victory.

RPIHFH used his/her big final weekend (and the fact that redhead forgot to make predictions) to squeak into the Top 10.

Here's the link to the spreadsheet, if you want to look at where you lost out on your opportunity to move up.

But, without further ado, the final standings:

Thank you for running the Pick to Click, burgie12, it was a lot of fun!
Unfortunately, the players I pick from the opposing teams tend to do well, and I think I jinx our players out of scoring...might have to fix that next year.

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

This was fun! The Season was fun!
Really had hoped to see DU play RPI in the Regional Final, but we came a long way, baby. :)

Thanks burgie for all your work!
