RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

There were 5 winners this weekend, setting a new record (previous high was 3 (RPI Tourney, BU, @SLU/CCT)). Congratulations to allnightwong, fishcore, FlagDUDE, Ralph, and TuteScrooge. It was the first weekly win for wonger, fishcore, and FD. On the other hand, myself, GoDanGo, RHamilton, and cnor (who make up 3rd-6th place) totaled a fantastic sum of 0 points.

The high scorers on the weekend PtC-wise were Foss / Higgs (hawthr) / Rogic (fishcore) / Tinordi and Pallis (wonger, babo, FD, Ralph, and TuteScrooge) on Friday with Leboeuf (his second straight week being a top scorer) and Bouharevich / Currie / Dalhuisen / Robinson maxing out at 2 points on Saturday.

FlagDUDE continues his "hot streak" of 2 weeks. TuteScrooge separated himself a little bit from the cluster* sitting between 8th and 12th place with those 5 spots separated by only 4 points. FlagDUDE also vaulted himself into the Top 10, displacing redhead (who forgot to submit his / her picks this week).

I would also like to extend a welcome to lugnut and REDaero, both of whom made successful debuts by picking up at least a point each.

So, Results (and link to Google spreadsheet with cumulative results):

Link back to the title post with details on scoring

Rensselaer slides into 5th place after picking up 3 points over the last three weekends of the regular season. The Raiders, however, are riding 2-1-1 and 4-2-1 streaks.

Everyone will be picking 3 different players for each team: one each for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Weekly scores and the prep for the Cornell series will be posted after the Engineers win the series.

You may not choose the following players for this weekend of games:
Rensselaer:
F - Chase Polacek
D - Nick Bailen

Colgate:
F - Francois Brisebois
D - Jeremy Price

Statistics / Rosters:
Rensselaer: Statistics | Roster
Colgate: Statistics | Roster (beware of J. McNamara / K. McNamara confusion)

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

For those that have yet to pick, you'd be smart to pick Malchuk for one of the games. Out of Polacek, he has been your biggest threat against us.

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

burgie - How did I only get 3 points on the weekend when I picked Higgs Friday and Malchuk Saturday, with each scoring a goal?

Because when I was typing "Brock Higgs," I saw that Excel had already filled in the name for me. Turns out it was "Bryan Brutlag" that I put in, instead. You will be awarded with an extra point. Thank you for double checking my work.
