Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

Well, it looks like the season might be over, but I'm going to hold off on the season-end wrap-up post until it becomes blatantly clear that the Engineers cannot sneak their way into the NCAAs.

GRussinko earned his first weekly win with 9 points on the weekend. 7 of his 9 points came from his Colgate choices. 12 of the 17 posters benefited in some manner from the 2 empty net goals potted by the Raiders.

The top choices on the weekend were Higgs (redhead, rvd, and TuteScrooge) and Smith (GRussinko, hawthr, Ralph, REDaero, and RPIHFH) on Friday, Helfrich (fishcore and viz) / Lee (cnor) and Poplawski / Prockow on Saturday, and Bergin (ehf, fishcore) / Foss (myself) / Helfrich (cnor and GRussinko) and Bourdon (GRussinko, hawthr, Ralph, and RPIHFH) / Mayer (fishcore) / McPherson (RHamilton) / Mihalik on Sunday.

There wasn't a lot of movement within the ranks this week. GoDanGo again did not submit picks this week and has fallen all the way to 7th place. GRussinko used his weekly win to vault himself from 10th place to 8th and FlagDUDE made a couple of gambles and they cost him, falling to 12th. It should also be noted that no one failed to register a point this weekend, making up for last weekend's dismal performance by some.

Obviously, there will not be a Week 20 or 21 in this contest. Stay tuned for a Week 22 preparatory post or a season wrap-up in the coming days / weeks.

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

So are we bringing this back for this weekend?
YES. WE. ARE!

For Week 22, just like Week 7, each of you will pick one player (skater or goalie) from each team (North Dakota, Denver, Western Michigan, and Rensselaer) to represent you for all three games to be played this weekend in Green Bay. The points earned per goal / assist / win / shutout do not change from the original breakdown. The results of each game will be considered when the point totals are added together.

The following players are not eligible to be chosen:
Rensselaer:
F - Chase Polacek
D - Nick Bailen

Western Michigan:
F - Max Campbell
D - Matt Tennyson

Denver:
F - Drew Shore
D - Matt Donovan

North Dakota:
F - Matt Frattin
D - Chay Genoway

Statistics / Rosters:
Rensselaer: Statistics | Roster
Western Michigan: Statistics | Roster
Denver: Statistics | Roster (beware of K. Ostrow / S. Ostrow, D. Shore / N. Shore confusion)
North Dakota: Statistics | Roster

PS You have until 1:30 PM on Saturday, the 26th to submit picks.

burgie12,
Did you consider posting a message on the Green Bay region thread inviting fans of the other three teams to enter this week?
