RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

Congratulations go to GoDanGo (3rd weekly win, hasn't been outside of the top 5 since the Union - Home & Home series), redhead18 (1st weekly win), and RHamilton (4th weekly win, which leads all posters).

babo didn't specify which Devin she picked on Friday. Unfortunately, I'm not a mind reader, and given my lack of leniency in previous weeks, I can't give her any points.

The correct choices on the weekend were Helfrich (redhead18) and Mike Devin (GoDanGo, GRussinko, and RHamilton) on Friday, with Bergin (myself and RHamilton), Foss (nobody), Malchuk (nobody), York (cnor and TuteScrooge), and Brisebois (GoDanGo, hawthr, REDRocket, TuteScrooge, and vizoroo) on Saturday.

The Brisebois-Bourdon-Day goal helped make sure that babo was the only poster to put up a goose egg, because there 15 of the 17 players picked a skater from that trio. GoDanGo and RHamilton closed the gap between Ralph and everybody else to a very manageable 3 points. redhead18's big weekend moved him / her into the Top 10, knocking out FlagDUDE08. There's a nice, big logjam between 10th and 13th place, with just 3 points separating the 4 places.

So, Results (and link to Google spreadsheet with cumulative results):

Link back to the title post with details on scoring

RPI splits the weekend with Cornell and Colgate and returns back to the HFH for the only time this season when the Engineers will play back-to-back in-conference weekends at home.

Harvard has struggled, but beat the Tute in Cambridge, and finally broke their non-conference losing streak (which dated back to Feb 4, 2008). Dartmouth is having a great season, as evidenced by the 3 seed that they have earned in the NCAA tournament (assuming the season ended today).

You may not choose the following players for this weekend of games:
Rensselaer:
F - Chase Polacek
D - Nick Bailen

Harvard:
F - Alex Killorn
D - Danny Biega

Dartmouth:
F - Scott Fleming
D - Evan Stephens

Statistics / Rosters:
Rensselaer: Statistics | Roster
Harvard: Statistics | Roster (beware of D. Biega / M. Biega confusion)
Dartmouth: Statistics | Roster (beware of C. Goggin / M. Goggin and D. Walsh / N. Walsh confusion)

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

Saturday, January 22:

Re: RPI Pick to Click: 2010-2011 Edition

Hedging your bets a little?

I cannot seem to score more than 1 point in a weekend, so Ive gone with the recent RPI trend to throw away friday and hope for the best on saturday. That and I really have no shot at winning this thing so why not have some fun with it.

Watch it end up a non-scoreless tie.
