Excellent options-my favorites are:

We can rebuild! We have the technology!

Road to St. Paul, Minnesota has begun!

How can the road begin when the season hasn't even started yet, and won't start for another 5.5 months?

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2010 -- The Calm Before the Storm

Canada lost to Sweden 5-1 today in their second game in the 3-Nations Tourney (a double round-robin). Patrick Koudys had no points or penalties. http://stats.swehockey.se/online/42/91331/91331002/91331002_frame_default.htm

Koudys was partnered with Juha for this game. Canada's record is 0-2. Looking at the shot totals, a Tier II All Star team clearly has problems against teams with first round draft choices.

Edit: Somewhere I read that Sweden had first round NHL draft choice on this team. As far as I can tell the highest drafted player was early in the 2nd round, and they also have the CSB's #7 ranked European skater for the 2010 draft.

Still nothing official about SA's contract being extended, but women's coach John Burke's contract has been extended through 2013-14 http://www.rpiathletics.com/news/2010/4/15/WICE_0415103459.aspx/.

This is good news, as he has done a terrific job with our women's team. Although I am usually unlucky enough to catch "off games", the play style is fun to watch, and great results have been produced. I'll just try to stay away from the rink. :D

Well to be fair to IMO, the road begins NOW with off-season workouts, hiring a K.A. Asst. Coach and getting certain recruits on campus...But other than that, nothing comes to mind.:D

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2010 -- The Calm Before the Storm

The Atlantic 10 bouncyball tournament was there last month, and they had to delay some of the games due to a leaky roof.

Gee that bodes well ...I can already picture Hagwell out on the ice between games catching rusty rain water in 5 gal. pails... :D I never thought it would be possible to find an arena on the Continent with ice worse than the TUC's, but it appears that the Commish might've outdone himself... :D

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2010 -- The Calm Before the Storm

I will bet that if Princeton gets to Atlantic City there will be more Engineer fans than Tiger fans. Even if RPI doesn't make it (heaven forbid)

Psst... heaven believes we're going to make it... the odds are in our favor.
We nuclear powers are in possesion of such information. :)

Besides, everyone knows that RPI grads can count cards much better than Princeton types... what else is there to do in AC? ;)

Her are some suggestions:)

RPI 2010 Off-Season Thread II- The road to St. Paul, Minnesota has begun
RPI 2010 Off-Season Thread II- Back with revengeance
RPI 2010 Off-Season Thread II- No backstabers allowed :D
RPI 2010 Off-Season Thread II-We have what it takes

Just was giving my opinion on what was tossed out-sticking with my two favorites! The Road to St. Paul, Minnesota started the day Seth Appert was hired as head coach! It has been a long road- but one that they can and will travel!

Eight deck strategies for card counting are tough... As for other things to do..... uhh..... the beach is too polluted, so..... uhh..... exactly. ;)
