RPI Off-Season III: Another Helping of Mindless Speculation and Idle Chit Chat

Re: RPI Off-Season III: Another Helping of Mindless Speculation and Idle Chit Chat

Looks like Modry is also currently a head coach for the Troy-Albany Titans 1999 team, where his son Jacob plays.

It can't hurt to have access to European players. We have only had a handful of players from Europe, maybe that will change in the future.
That Seth Appert seems to get smarter everyday.

I dunno about any european connection, but the NHL experience and coaching sure as heck can't hurt. Great pickup Seth!

Give it a couple days, and then double down. The big one ain't coming until November.

It is possible that November 7, 2012 will see the biggest down day in history for US stocks......brr....

Well, I just through out money for a subscription to watch the games on the net again. It's amazing that every spring I say that I won't pay for this crap again, and come fall, I do it again.

I just cannot do it again. I felt it was a total waste for me. If RPI TV were doing the broadcasts, that would be an entirely different story.

I fully agree. It's worth the 6-12 hour wait. Plus, think of it this way, Ralph: You get back from your bike ride, and the game's right up there for you.

OK stop talking about this silliness.

What we really want to know is... WS... are you going to beer me on Monday?

Re: RPI Off-Season III: Another Helping of Mindless Speculation and Idle Chit Chat

In honor of Mike Bergin and Taylor Mahoney, today is 23 September 2011. There are 8 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 1 October for the start of next season.

That should be no problem since a month later, the world will come to an end.

Funny! and when my odometer rolls over my car will explode! ;)

the Mayan calendar does not 'end' in 2012, it merely rolls over to a new lead digit that they didn't include; just like an odometer can read all zeros if your car lasts that long
