The Bee played a huge part in the last championship season and helped greatly at Joe Louis Arena at the Final Four.

GREAT link Doc. A must read for true RPI fans. If that Surveyor logo isn't crying out to be the logo on a throwback Black Friday jersey, I don't know what is...that needs to happen!:D

Maybe one of our posters who is close to the team can plant the seed? I expect full attribution.....and a free jersey.:p

The Bee came in handy for us personally-when the Duck mascot for Lake Superior picked Jenny up(she is quite petite) and tried to walk off with her during the Xmas tourney back in 1985-The Bee came quickly to her rescue and went into full attack mode. I would have rose to defend her honor but I was enjoying a plate of HFH nachos and felt it was more important to keep up my nutrition. Besides, we were all a bit tipsy from the potent potable we had brought into the rink in a large flask. Those sure were the good old days!!

I think that Notre Dame is going to go to the super conference but i also think that we are going to get an invite from HE. The Q will be the other invite IMO. Discuss among yourselves.

Although this belongs on the Alumni thread I will answer here-Spoke with brad tapper about tyler and he felt he has all the tools to succeed and move up to a higher level. Said that Tyler sees the ice extremely well and has a very good pair of hands. That coming from a 31 goal in a season scorer for RPI means something to me. Always felt we did not get to see the best of Helfrich while he was at RPI but felt much of it was due to lingering injuries.
