We're young and talented, struggled Saturday to finish, particularly on the power play. Should be a fun series.

When we played UAH a couple years ago, they were one-goal games. Plus, given Kepler's third law of ECAC hockey (and yes I do realise that MSU-M is WCHA), there is no way I'm writing off any team until we're done playing them.

Simply put-we have not played on the road yet this season. As far as I am concerned we can almost throw out the results so far. We had a nice if not perfect weekend at home in Troy. This is a bit of a haul to travel-and some legs travel better than others. This 2 game set will add to what we know about our team and what we can expect. I think we have gained a considerable amount of confidence playing at home. But that can mean absolutely zippo a thousand miles away. If you are SA, what changes if any do you make? Who plays in goal for the 2 games? And what color suit do you wear?

Sure would not like to have stretch out those legs after sitting on a bus for that trip. It better be a plane, and a direct flight at that.

BUS ??? 1250+ miles BUS ???
Minneapolis is only about 80 miles from Mankato. so I would guess that would be the flight destination.

I would think that is what they were doing, but I just wanted to confirm. For all I know, we are going by barge on the Erie Canal (a.k.a NY State Barge Canal) and then through the Great Lakes to Duluth.

We've gone back to calling it the Erie Canal, despite what the Twin Bridges sign tells you.

Thanks. I didn't know that. The other name always seemed dumb to me anyway for something that already had a name that was so well known.We've gone back to calling it the Erie Canal, despite what the Twin Bridges sign tells you.
