RPI @ MC, Saturday, 11/30/19 (Turkey Leg Classic)

Re: RPI @ MC, Saturday, 11/30/19 (Turkey Leg Classic)

Interesting how we just do not seem to be drawing any opponent penalties early in games lately. That would go along with our slow starts as we are just not hustling enough for teams to have to hold or hook or commit infractions against us.

Absolutely correct. Add to that their inability to crash the net looking for rebounds in which the opponent usually has to pull down the player from a good scoring chance.

Doc I’d say the hustle is there, they just made a few more bonehead plays than the other guys. Kjellberg and Savory look like they’re still at the hotel.

Coach Smith wasn’t very vocal on the bench and is out on the bench now, alone, for a good 2 minutes before the boys come out.

We seem to be a different team when we get any sort of an early break, score, or power play chance. You are right though as we looked asleep for the first 10 minutes again tonight.

That’s the shame about the start. It wasn’t a team thing, just the individuals I mentioned. And MC came out sleepier, just took advantage.

The boys are playing hard, and getting momentum. LGR

What ever happened to our PP? It went from one of the best to one of the worst in a span of a month.
