Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

I was listening to Ken Schott interview former USCHO poster Joe Yerdon on his radio segment today. When Schott began, he stated that Joe was an RPI alum. Is that true? I thought that he became an RPI fan because he was a local resident and went to another (upstate ;) ) college.

Oswego just barely qualifies for upstate; it's practically the southeastern corner of Lake Ontario. :p

I still wonder what Seth Appert's Hair thinks of this past weekend... ;) Too bad that doesn't get updated all that often.

AFAIK, Joe is not an RPI alum. He is a graduate of Oswego. His USCHO handle was GreatLakerMohawk for those that don't know. He has had a lot of experience in radio, but you should ask him how he was able to get his big break at WRPI ;)

Something tells me it involves a USCHO poster with a handle of a Biblical city encountered by someone named Joshua...

Official start times are 8:07 ET on Friday and 11;07 ET on Saturday according to the TU and Gazette.

I’ve seen it written in two other places away from here that C. Bradley is the “C”. I never saw any Letters on any of the boys last Sunday & the Roster page doesn’t indicate any such status. Did I miss something? Are there any?

He seems to be the de facto captain. He took the ceremonial face off at the exhibition game, and is the player I've most noticed talking to refs about calls on the ice. I don't know why it hasn't been made official, but he does appear to be the captain in spirit, if not in name.

Good gravy Ed ........ Alaska-Fairbanks went 19-13-2 last season. The Nanooks are a puck possession team that has a strong forecheck. Senior center Tyler Morley (15-22-37), junior right winger Marcus Basara (12-12-24) and defenseman Colton Parayko (6-17-23) are the leading points producers.........................Parayko scored his first 2 NHL goals just the other night Ed!!!!!

Parayko :) Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I'm sure Alaska fans are sad to have lost him, but the Blues are happy to have him and his bomb of a slapshot around.
