Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

Actually, Robitaille was a defenseman. I remember Juneau and Coles did play together, but who was the third player on that line I'm not sure.

Derek Decosty, who had a pretty fine senior season when paired with the talented Juneau and mercurial Coles; Keith Dupee would benefit similarly years later, being the "third guy" with 2 established talents....

Over the years I have hear Bruce Coles called many things but never mercurial. He was a tough little package, fast, strong and with a wee bit of a temper.

Great work by AspyDad and all those involved with tonight's Dine and Donate at the Recovery Room. Great crowd to support the cause and was great to have a few moments to chat with Coach Appert. Came over to the table and visited with my group for a few minutes. Once again he proved to me why he is Our Great Coach. The push to Lake Placid continues this weekend and I look forward to the games.

Thinking about LP, new women's recruit Kirsten Iwanski (perhaps others too) will be there this weekend for a tourney.

Big night for autism awareness! Great to see our coach and team there.

You can say that again. I bumped into him once at Elda's and he looked at me like I had just killed his puppy. Luckily one of the other players I knew stepped in to say "Hey Bruce - he's an alright guy" and that saved me from experiencing first hand what a night on the ice with Bruce could be like.

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

I didn't see the game so I can't judge the actual game play (I was watching Yale take a game they also probably didn't deserve), but a shot count of 44-16 doesn't look good. Regardless, a point is a point is a point and this is a huge win for the boys. Let's make it a four-point weekend and take down Colgate tomorrow.

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

Peter Feola and Lynch were terrible putting us down 5-3. Cant do with tick tack stuff in tight games. Mike S belly aching at the end of the game, classic. I thought Cornell was slower than they usually are. Too bad Mike's experiment didn't work in Lynah, he had to go back to trapping the whole game.. sad.
